What is CFD Trading?

Forex CFD (Forex CFD)

Forex, short for Foreign Exchange, is a type of forex trading product, commonly referred to as Forex or FX margin trading. Forex trading, which includes spot forex, forward contracts, and currency futures, involves the exchange of two currencies simultaneously, meaning the sale of one country's currency and the purchase of another country's currency.

What is FX Margin?

FX margin trading is a trading method that allows you to engage in forex transactions with a relatively small deposit, enabling large-scale forex trades. This mechanism allows participants to use only a portion of the total trade amount as margin, enabling them to take larger positions. While this can result in significant profits with a small deposit, it also carries high risks.

In FX margin trading, investors use their deposit, called margin, to engage in forex transactions. Typically, forex brokers set margin requirements, and investors must deposit the required margin according to these rules. The profits or losses from a trade arise from price fluctuations of the traded currencies, and these are calculated in proportion to the margin deposited by the investor.

Margin trading allows small investors to take large positions, but it also involves high risks. This is because losses in margin trading can grow exponentially depending on the margin. Therefore, FX margin trading requires careful planning and risk management.

What is Indices CFD?

Indices CFD is a derivative product that allows traders to profit by predicting the price movements of stock indices through either long (buy) or short (sell) positions. Traders do not own the underlying assets; instead, they hold positions based solely on the directional movement of the index price. As a result, traders "own" the price movement of the index during the holding period, with profits and losses determined by the index's price fluctuations.
